It is possible that you or a loved one has anxiety or has feelings of fear, worry, and nervousness regarding everyday life and the future. Being a little nervous about the future is normal, but the people who suffer from anxiety spend a significantly greater amount of time worrying about their decisions. They feel the emotional and physical impact of these fears in their day to day life. Anxiety disorders have become the most common mental illness, In fact, it’s become the most commonly reported health concern across college campuses nationwide.
In our fast-paced world, many young people feel they are simply not able to keep up with all the demands made on them. There can be many warning signs including in your family tree—because researches do believe anxiety to be hereditary. If you have other physical conditions or illnesses, coupled with alcohol or drug use, it’s possible your anxiety could be exacerbated further. The most important thing is to realize where on the scale of anxiety you fall. If you have mild feelings, you may be able to control them with a series of different exercises or changes in your lifestyle!
We aim to bring you new challenges so that you can try something new every day to manage and ease your daily anxiety. They may be physical challenges, social, or challenges that urge you to focus on caring for yourself emotionally. We hope these challenges urge you to try something new and see if you feel better at handling the stress in your life. If the anxious feelings are more serious including other physical ramifications, you may need medical treatment and we urge you to take care of it as on first priority basis.
