Habits that help to raise good-characterized child

Habits that help to raise good-characterized child
Early bedtimes:
One of the most basic things that one can do for their kids behavior, health and well-being is to help them get the sleep they need. Sleep is the building block for healthy brain development. It helps us process the day’s events and learn from it. Kids’ brains are constantly developing and creating new neural connections. They absolutely must get good sleep to nurture these connections.
Routines:
Using something as simple as these printable routine cards can help kids feel grounded and relaxed. In fact, knowing what to expect at mealtimes, mornings and bedtimes can bring a sense of relief to even the most carefree child. Routines allow kids to feel a sense of control.
Empathy:
Empathy promotes kindness, pro-social behaviors, and moral courage and it is an effective antidote to bullying, aggression, prejudice and racism.
Hugs:
Hugging triggers the release of oxytocin, also known as the love hormone. This feel-good hormone has many important effects on our bodies; one of them is growth stimulation.
Playful parents:
We dont reserve much room in our lives for fun and games anymore. Our days are filled with stress, obligations and hard work, and without realizing it, we are more disconnected from our kids than ever. Play is the work of the child and to connect with our kids, so we must play with our kids.
Music:
Science has shown that when children learn to play music, their brains begin to hear and process sounds that they couldnt otherwise hear. This helps them develop neurophysiological distinction between certain sounds that can aid in literacy, which can translate into improved academic results for kids.
Outdoor times:
Movement through active free play, especially outside, improves everything from creativity to academic success to emotional stability. Kids who dont get to do this can have so many issues, from problems with emotional regulation.
More screen-time limits:
In order for the brains neural networks to develop normally during the critical period, a child needs specific stimuli from the outside environment. When a young child spends too much time in front of a screen and not enough getting required stimuli from the real world, its development becomes stunted.
Experiences, not things:
Children require less things and far more meaningful experiences. When they grow up, its not the stuff in their life they will remember, its that time they tried to catch tadpoles at the lake, or that sand castle you both built that the wave knocked over at the beach.
Enjoy more peaceful parenting days and gain more cooperation from your child!

Why Schools should create social responsibility to drive change? A school plays a vital role in the child’s development. Children get their formal education in a school. Schools need to promote the education which is meaningful and has to be fit into the framework of the society. Today’s children will grow up and become future adults of our society. Hence if today’s children are not made aware of their social responsibility towards the community then the social issues or problem will grow more and more. There is an urgent need to foster strong mental and social health amongst today’s children so that they can connect with their peers, their elders, the community, the environment, etc. School education must empower children to be active citizens, caring, responsible and compassionate human beings. As the children spend most of the time in school, hence schools must promote the activities to sensitize children towards social responsibility to bring positive change in the soci

The classroom technology trends are changing so swiftly and speedily that the teachers and educators have to keep themselves equipped to meet the expectations of a diverse classroom for optimum learning. 21st century Gen Z is born with technology in hand, that’s why these children are known as “Digital Natives”. If we do not bring innovative technology to the classrooms then our classrooms will be dull, boring and it will be difficult to engage and excite children for learning in future. Teachers have to embed technology into their innovative instructional planning. Around 5 years back on the name of educational technology, most of the schools had started changing their chalk & black boards into digital/interactive boards so called “Smart Boards”.
